The facilities in the grounds of both Clogher and Ballintubber are testament to the tremendous support the Club has received both locally, nationally and the many supporters scattered throughout the world. While the excellent grounds in Ballintubber are of tremendous pride after an investment of over €1 million back in 2008 , Clogher grounds are next on the agenda for a facelift where revamped dressing rooms are in the pipeline after a recent planning application was submitted. While the success of our Senior team in recent times have advertised the Club globally, you the supporter can still be such a huge help by continuing to support the lotto with the Jackpot this Saturday night heading for €17,900 where the draw takes place in Tuffy's pub in Dunamoona. Tickets can be purchased locally at any of the shops and pubs at €2 a ticket or 3 tickets for €5 while an online ticket can be purchased through where a minimum purchase of €10 guarantees you 5 weeks entry including online results. Diarmuid O'Connor puts in a top class performance from midfield during Mayo Under 21's 4-7 to 0-8 win over a luckless Leitrim side in ideal conditions under lights in McHale Park on Wednesday evening! The Ballintubber ace even managed to get his name on the scoresheet when he finished a move he started to get the games second goal after the unfortunate Leitrim full-back was injured which resulted in a long delay before the medical team and ambulance arrived. A situation like this happened only a few months ago during our Under 21's Semi-Final defeat, surely players deserve better from the GAA? Back to the action where Michael Plunkett also was brought on in the win where Mayo have a lot of work on an evening where only 2-3 was scored from the attack. Next up is a clash against neighbours Galway on Saturday week with further details to be confirmed!!

Next Saturday evening sees the League holders Dublin visit McHale Park where a large crowd is expected for the 7pm throw-in!!

The O'Connor brothers started their first National Football League Division 1 game in Mayo's 3-15 to 0-11 win over 13 man Monaghan team in McHale Park on Sunday! Cillian was as reliable as ever on the frees while his younger brother Diarmuid covered every blade of grass during a typical energy sapping performance in this important win which put Mayo on top of the Division if only on scoring average. Next Sunday at 2.3o they make the long trip to Derry to take on the hosts in Celtic Park!!
